Hans is ASFA’s inaugural Executive Officer, ASP Services, a collaborative forum for superannuation practitioners within the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA). Hans is also responsible for the ASFA Cyber Resilience Forum, a forum for and by senior superannuation practitioners to help shape the future of cyber resilience in the superannuation ecosystem.
ASP is a unique collaboration service through which administration practitioners and software providers - covering all superannuation industry sectors - work together with regulators in co-design, implementation and operations of the ever-changing $3.3T superannuation ecosystem.
Hans is an ASFA appointed Director of the Gateway Network Governance Body Limited (GNGB), an industry owned not-for-profit organisation with its main purpose being to manage the integrity, security and availability of the Superannuation Transaction Network.
Hans is a keen investor in and advisor to a number of startups and scale-ups and was the Ambassador for Startupbootcamp Australia's Fintech Programs in 2020 and 2021.
Hans has a Diploma of Superannuation Management (ASFA), a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is a Fellow of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Hans has successfully completed the University of Oxford Fintech Programme, INSEAD Innovation in the Age of Disruption Programme and Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age through Harvard.
